THE HOME
This calming, split level flat in an Edwardian conversion in Harringay is available as a room rental or entire home rental when the host is travelling. The flat has painted, wooden floorboards throughout, white walls and large windows which give the home a light and airy feeling. On the first floor is the spacious, fully equipped kitchen including coffee maker and featuring a dining table that seats four. The kitchen window faces the neighbours’ garden, where you can look over the tall trees and nature while you eat. On this level is also the bathroom with bathtub and separate W/C.
On the top floor is the host’s bedroom and the living room which turns into the guest bedroom (host will not use it as a living room during your stay). The guest bedroom is incredibly spacious with a proper double mattress on the sofa bed, desk space and office chair by the window to work from, coffee table and bold sofa seat and TV. There are lots of great books in the shelves you can read as well as hanging space for your belongings.
The home has lots of colorful furniture and furnishings throughout as well as beautiful plants brightening up each room giving it a cosy, artistic, happy vibe.
THE AREA
Harringay is a quiet, residential neighborhood in North London with lovely local cafés and restaurants. It’s well connected with trains to reach central London taking around 20 minutes, or East London areas such as Old Street in similar time via a direct train.
It’s a 20-minute walk from Crouch End, a lovely area with independent shops, cinemas, and more.
Harringay train station is an 8 minute walk and Harringay Green Lanes overground is 12 minute walk away. The nearest underground stations are Manor House and Turnpike Lane (both on the Piccadilly Line). Both stations are a 15–17 minute walk from the flat. From Manor House, Covent Garden can be reached in about 16 minutes.
