THE HOME

This eclectic, modern yet cosy home is a converted shop space in the heart of Dalston, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. The home has been lovingly decorated with great attention to design and detail - great furniture and soft furnishings, painted floorboards as well as a library archival magazines. The host made many of the furniture pieces herself including the bookshelf and the dining table.

The home opens up into the open plan living room and kitchen which great light in the morning and have red lamps in the evening. There’s a projector for watching films in the living room as well as comfortable seating, plenty of books and plants. The kitchen has an electric stove top and oven, kettle and moka pot for coffee as well as all the utensils needed for cooking. The dining table is against the wall in the kitchen for most of the time where it can double as a workspace, but can also be pulled out for dinner parties seating ten.

The guest bedroom is the second bedroom at the back of the home making it very peaceful. It has a comfortable double bed as well as a chest of drawers to store your belongings and a small desk/vanity area. There are two skylights in the bedroom, one over the bed and the other at the end of the room. Please note that currently there are no coverings on the skylight so you look at the stars in the evening.

The shared bathroom is located at the very back of the home and has been recently upgraded. It has a great bathtub as well as shower, toilet and lovely tile detailing,

The home is located in Dalston, in between Hackney Downs Park and Kingsland Rd, offering a peaceful retreat just moments from the vibrant energy of the area. It is in the perfect location to be close to everything that Dalston has to offer in bars, restaurants, music venues, coffee shops and great parks, whilst still providing an escape from the hustle and bustle.

It’s a 10 minute walk from Dalston Kingsland station and bus stops just outside the door.
