THE HOME
This fabulous ground floor, one bedroom apartment is the perfect home away from home. It is located in an Art Deco building and is a spacious home with multiple rooms separated by an internal hall.
At one end of the home is the large kitchen with separate dining space. There is all the modern kitchen amenities as well as a small dining table and chairs. Off the hallway is the bathroom with bath tub and shower on one side and the living room on the other. The living room has a comfortable couch, vintage chair and TV. Adjoining the living room and bedroom is a separate office space with desk and office chair. The bedroom is at the end of the hall and includes a comfortable double bed, large built in cupboard space, vintage chest of drawers and side tables.
There is a communal courtyard for the building which also includes a communal washer and dryer.
The home has been uniquely decorated with a mix of antique furniture and furnishings, modern art, books and trinkets collected from all over the world giving it a cosy artistic flair.
There is great light throughout the home with large windows in each room. There is also two entrances to the home, both located on the side of the building.
THE AREA
The home is located in a quiet street in trendy Marrickville in Sydney’s Inner West. Marrickville, once home to mainly warehouse and industry, is now a popular residential area with young artists as well as a vibrant suburb featuring great shops, restaurants, bars and cafes.
At the end of the street there is small set of shops as well as Dulwich Hill train station across the rd from the home with quick access to Sydney CBD and other areas of Sydney. Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport is located less than a 15 minute drive from the home.
