THE HOME
This incredible self contained, studio apartment, “The Den” is part of a large warehouse conversion called The Blue Shed. Located on the right side of the building and sharing only one wall with the host, The Den is the perfect artists getaway. It has it’s own entrance, large living space, comfortable bed and private bathroom. The home has been renovated with cool designer finishes, polished concrete floors, large windows to let light flood in and beautiful tile features. Throughout the home there is incredible artwork that brings the space alive.
The Den includes all the modern amenities including a dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, microwave, oven and stovetop, washing machine/dryer as well large TV with mubi, nextflix and a variety of other channels that you can watch from the comfort of the four post bed! There is plenty of storage space to use as well.
The courtyard at the front of the home is shared with the host who has her own separate living space. It is the perfect spot to relax in with a huge retractable awning to protect you from the harsh Australian sun, a herb garden you are welcome to use for cooking and a claw foot bath that can be wheeled outside to enjoy a bath under the stars.
THE AREA
The home is located in a quiet area of Botany. There are plenty of large parks near by as well as amenities such as Botany Aquatic centre and Baker Street Studios. The airport is a short drive away, perfect for those travelling. There are cute cafes and independent shops within a 10 minute walk from the home. There is a bus stop located a two minute walk from the home with regular buses towards the city and beaches with Maroubra beach the closest surf beach for a dip.
THE host
You will have the home to yourself.
Your host, a retired, female, multi-disciplinary creative, will be in the adjoining building to help you with anything you may need or share a tea and a story.
