THE HOME
This gorgeous home located on the third floor of a beautiful NYC building and is available as an entire home to rent. The building has a 24 hour doorman, indoor pool, two courtyards and a laundry in the basement. The home opens up to an entrance hallway with storage cupboards on the left and the stylish stairs to the mezzanine level on the right. As you walk further into the home there is a large kitchen with all the modern amenities on the right which opens up to the dining area which has a stunning circular table seating three, record player and double height windows flooding the home with light. Across from the dining room in the open planned space is the cosy living room with stylish sofa and chair as well as an eclectic mix of personal objects which give the room a sense of vibrancy. There are half length curtains on the large windows to pull down for privacy or for night time. The bathroom with bath tub and shower is located next to the living room, back towards the front door.
Upstairs on the mezzanine level you have the main bedroom and the nursery. The main bedroom is spacious with a comfortable king size bed and beautiful vanity. The storage space in the bedroom is kept locked for the hosts - Inn Town guests can use the nursery storage as their personal belongings storage. The nursery is separated by a small hallway and curtain and includes a crib, stylish changing table, comfortable nursing chair and extra blinds to pull down for nap times. There is large storage at the back of the nursery.
The home faces the interior courtyard so is very quiet and private. The home is filled with different textiles, ceramics, and objects collected from the hosts travels throughout the years. You can see their love for 60s Italian and Swedish furniture throughout the home with each piece considered. There is lovely low light throughout the house in the evening making the vibe at night one of the hosts favourite things about their home.
THE AREA
This home is located in the buzzing heart of the Lower East Side. Known as an artistic neighborhood you’re surrounded by some of the best restaurants, shops, galleries and bars Manhattan has to offer. The neighbourhood is boarded by the Bowery, East River, Canal Street, and Houston Street.
There is plenty of access to public transport with Delancy St - Essex St, East Broadway and Grand St stations all a short walks distance away and the Williamsburg bridge pretty much on your door step for anyone walking/ cycling to Brooklyn.
