THE SPACE
The Nest is a two story creative sanctuary for artists, makers, creators and innovators. The creators of the Nest, artists in their own right, believe providing safe, sacred spaces for artists is of utmost cultural importance and have designed the 2000sqm warehouse to nurture expression, growth and creative connection.
The Nest offers a range of different size and types of artist spaces for hire, with majority of the spaces lending themselves to any artistic discipline. Most of the artist spaces are open plan to encourage collaboration within the Nest community, however there are also more private spaces available for those who need to go inward to create as well as spaces designed specifically for certain disciplines, including soundproof music rooms.
There are a range beautifully curated communal spaces for artists to use and relax in as well as the Lab photographic studio, meeting room and workshop spaces. Artists can hire their own space at the Nest on a monthly basis and/or they can book their latest event, workshop, photoshoot, film, meeting or any other endeavour in one of the many spaces that may suit their needs.

THE AREA
The Nest is located on the border of Redfern, Waterloo and Alexandria, three of Sydney’s most vibrant, artistic and creative suburbs. It is easily accessible by public transport with a bus stop out the front of the studio and redfern station less than a 10 minute walk away. There is also parking available on site on a “first in best dressed” basis. The central location of the Nest means it is also easy for any deliveries and bump ins. There are incredible restaurants, cafes and bars a few seconds from the studio as well as supermarkets and convenience stores.
